Two Housemates is Leaving Youtube - Youtube Video

I had the unfortunate news to reveal which was the series I've worked on for years, will be leaving Youtube for a while. Enjoy the video and the tidy transcription. Much love.

Two Housemates is leaving YouTube. Bye. No, but seriously, it's going. Um, it has been a constant in my life and obviously that YouTube channel. I say that YouTube channel, the YouTube channel that you are currently on, unless I've uploaded this to Instagram, SJ Young Creative, how are you?

It has been a constant on the channel and a constant in terms of availability because whenever someone asks me what have you done I can point them towards Two Housemates and not towards the body in the closet. Whenever somebody who is a filmmaker wants to have a conversation with me I can point them towards Two Housemates and whenever someone is in charge of a production company I use Two Housemates as proof. Series 3 was released nearly seven years ago. Series 2 was released about 10 years ago and Two Housemates series 1, I mean, Ryan and I started it when we were 19. It was released when we were 21. So, it's about 13 years, but it's going. And, um, if

No, I'll tell you why.

I want to make a film. I've always wanted to and Two Housemates, in its current format, isn't something that's going to lend towards it. But what I am doing instead is I will be editing Two Housemates into a film itself, releasing that to film festivals and then speaking to sales reps about getting it shown in cinemas and then that will be used as a shown experience and a highlight when I speak to other production companies about making a film because whenever you want to make a

film, someone always asks, "Well, have you made a film before?" And as soon as you say no, they say, "Well, a shame. Um, you're going to have to go and make a film” with all the money that you've got.

first series is like 100 minutes. Series two is 120 minutes and series 3 is about 110 minutes. So, these are hefty monkeys. Why have I used the word monkey?" I think it's because Two Housemates

is really cheeky and that's why you're going to miss it.

They might come back, but at the minute it's looking quite likely that they won't be. And on that note, I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who liked Two Housemates and a thank you to

everyone who took part in making Two Housemates what it is. And we all miss Ryan. And I

would absolutely and utterly love to see him again once he's released. Ryan is also the person filming this right now. Hi Ryan. Love you Ryan. Ryan and I of course will be continuing to make

things like these videos and loads of other stuff that's coming up in the next few months. It's going to be an action-packed YouTube channel.
